Elizabeth is a graduate from Tarleton State University with a degree in Biology with an emphasis in wildlife. Elizabeth has been working for Dr. Lawhon for two years and is engaged to be married in September of this year. Her and her fiancé have two puppies “Daisy” and “Rex.”
Dr. Lynn Lawhon grew up in Bronte, Texas, and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in 1977.
Dr. Lawhon has 40 years of experience in private veterinary practice with 38 of those years at Brookhollow Animal Clinic. He possesses a wealth of knowledge in general veterinary medicine and surgery, and enjoys being a solo practitioner which facilitates the development of personal relationships with his clients and their pets.
Whitney Peters is the practice manager, and brings with her to Brookhollow a deep and passionate love for pets.
A graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Interpersonal Communication, Whitney spent a considerable part of her career assisting customers of the Iams Pet Food Co. as a part of their widely recognized customer service team.
A native of Tuscola, Texas, Melissa completed her veterinary assistant certification in Jacksonville, North Carolina, where her husband was stationed in the Marine Crops. One day, Melissa hopes to further her veterinary career and pursue her license to be a registered veterinary technician.
Melissa and her husband have three dogs and one cat. When she’s not helping out the clients with her veterinary assistant skills, Mellisa enjoys cooking and playing golf.
